Our family has been helping people in Southeastern Wisconsin since 1970. That tradition includes Michael’s grandfather, Roscoe Moro, and his father, J.R. Today Michael leads Moro Family Insurance from New Berlin, Wisconsin, with a team that shares the same approach: know your clients by name, explain things plainly, and be there after the paperwork is done.

Michael J. Moro

President and Principal Agent

As the President and Principal Agent of Moro Family Insurance, I’m proud to continue a family business built on personal relationships and taking care of our clients. I believe insurance doesn’t have to be complicated, and I enjoy helping people understand their options so they can make informed decisions with confidence.

One of the things I value most about our agency is getting to know the people we work with. Many of our clients have been with our family for years, and I take great pride in continuing those relationships while welcoming new clients to the agency.

I’m also fortunate to work alongside my family and a team that shares the same commitment to providing personal, dependable service. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and seeking out new experiences whenever I get the chance.

Maria Moro Vargas

Vice President

Insurance has been a meaningful part of my family and my life for many years, with several members of my family building their careers in the industry. I became more involved in the family business by helping my husband, J.R., who previously ran the agency. After his passing in 2021, I continued working in the business alongside my son, Michael.

It has been incredibly rewarding to work with Michael and the rest of our team and to see our family business continue to grow. I’m proud to be part of a team that values relationships, trust, and taking good care of the people we serve.

Outside of the office, I enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and family, and making the most of life’s special moments.

Nikki Moro

Agency Coordinator

I’m proud to be part of the Moro Family Insurance team, where I’ve enjoyed working alongside my husband, Michael, and the rest of our team, helping families and building relationships since 2022. Before joining the family business, I spent more than 10 years working in healthcare and senior services, where I developed a passion for connecting with and caring for others.

Outside of work, my life revolves around our two kids, Benjamin and Olivia. I love traveling, watching Dancing with the Stars, and spending time with friends and family.

Melissa Mileusnic

Licensed Insurance Agent

Born and raised in Indiana, I spent more than two decades in Illinois before making Wisconsin my home in 2012. I now live in Franklin and bring a background in technology, sales, and customer care to my role at Moro Family Insurance.

Family is at the center of my life. I’m a proud single mom to two incredible siblings I was fortunate enough to adopt, and they truly are my world. I’m also a huge Notre Dame fan and enjoy sports, spending time outdoors, and getting everyone together for family game nights.

I believe life is about family, connection, and supporting one another, and I try to bring that same genuine care, patience, and warmth to the people I work with every day.
